Viaspace VIASPACE Inc. (VIASPACE) is engaged in commercializing space and defense technologies from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) into hardware and software products and applications. The Company operates in two divisions: VIASPACE Energy, which includes its ownership in a majority-owned subsidiary Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Corporation (DMFCC), and VIASPACE Security Inc. (VIASPACE Security). The Company also has a plurality stake in Ionfinity LLC (Ionfinity). Dear Dr.Kukkonen,
There was no numbers as to what is the “breakoff point” for “price per gallon of gas” vs. “per gallon of switch grass”. With the price for a barrel of crude oil at $50. At what gallon price does the “grass” become profitable to produce into etheynol??…
(Also you should note that common swamp, “BullRushes”, have the highest percentage of ethynol related alcohol vs. any other bio-fuel..)
Also, who is the competition on the methanol cartridges?
There are a number of cartridge manufacturers for nail guns, bb guns, etc.etc…..is this the same type of gas cartridge cylinder? Also, it seems that longer life battery cartridges are coming more common too, which would compete here as well……is this the same power market??
