NewMarket Technology’s Subsidiary Selected as Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement Reseller

DALLAS, TX–(November 16, 2009) – NewMarket Technology, Inc. (OTC: NWMT) today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, RKM IT Solutions, in Latin America has been selected as one of only two Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement Resellers in Venezuela. The Services Provider License Agreement (SPLA) program enables service providers and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) with a hosted offering to license Microsoft products on a monthly basis to provide services and hosted applications to their end customers. Customers who choose these services enjoy worldwide software distribution while having access to the latest versions of their selected software. Additionally, with the hosted solution, customers enjoy a flexible cost structure based on usage. RKM adds this offering to its established Microsoft partner offerings.

RKM is a Microsoft Large Account Reseller (LAR) and Enterprise Software Advisor (ESA) in Latin America and received the prestigious Associate of the Year in Advanced Infrastructure Solutions award at FOCUS 2009. Mid-Market and corporate customers in Latin America seek out the services of LAR/ESAs when implementing large Microsoft-based IT projects. Through this partnership with Microsoft, RKM offers high volume licensing, specifically “Enterprise Agreement” (EA) and “Select” for companies with more than 250 PCs and support services to large enterprises and institutional customers.
