EnerJex Resources, Inc. (EnerJex) is an independent energy company engaged in oil and natural gas acquisition, exploration and development. The Company produces and sells crude oil and natural gas, which is obtained primarily by the acquisition and subsequent exploration and development of mineral leases. Development and exploration may include drilling new exploratory or development wells on these leases. Its oil and natural gas acquisition and development activities are focused in Eastern Kansas. The Company’s operating projects include the Black Oaks Project, the DD Energy Project, the Tri-County Project, the Thoren Project and the Nickel Town Project. It also has interest in the the Gas City Project. As of March 31, 2008, EnerJex’s estimated total proved oil reserve was 1.4 million barrels of oil equivalent (BOE). Of the 1.4 million BOE of total proved reserves, approximately 64% are proved developed and approximately 36% are proved undeveloped.
