“CardioComm receives excellent initial response from Hospimedica International Advertising Campaign”

As we reported in our April 12th Press Release we have launched our Hospimedica International Advertising Campaign as planned for our HeartCheck™ PEN GEMS™ Home and SMART™ Monitoring Solution for consumers, effective April 26th, 2012.

The campaign includes a full-page advertisement placed in the April edition of HospiMedica International (English) and HospiMedica en Espanol (Spanish), published online and in print, along with a three-month banner ad that appears on the HospiMedica website in both languages. In addition, HospiMedica has written a summary editorial article entitled “Handheld ECG Offers At-Home Cardiac Monitoring” which is published in the April issue.

HospiMedica reaches 30,000 key hospital decision makers and medical equipment dealers/distributors in Europe, Latin America, the Middle East/Africa and Asia/Pacific. Our intentions for the advertisements are to generate interest in the aforementioned products in these regions by medical equipment purchasing and distribution networks.

During the first few days since the launch of the online issue, we have received a better than expected response from prospective distributors and hospital representatives in a wide variety of geographic areas. So far, we have received enquiries from Denmark, India, Philippines, Portugal, Bolivia, Nepal, Montenegro, China, Bulgaria and Greece, amoung 17 countries in all.

The campaign has just started with the print version of the April issue yet to circulate. I am very pleased with the positive reception we have enjoyed so far and look forward to receiving many more enquiries in the coming weeks and months.

Timing of The HospiMedica campaign was set to follow my recent trip to the World Congress of Cardiology Scientific Sessions organized by the World Heart Federation in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). As I mentioned in my update from last week I am coordinating a return to the region possibly as early as May for follow up meetings and in response to interest generated by our campaign.

CardioComm Solutions will be running a two-page advertisement and a three-month online banner ad in the special Medica edition of HospiMedica starting in November. We will be attending Medica, The World Forum for Medicine, in Dussledorf Germany, the world’s largest event for the medical sector, beginning on November 14th, 2012. Having exposure in the special edition the Hospimedica publication to coincide with Medica will support our efforts in linking with European distributors and hospital decision makers.

Though early in our campaign, HospiMedica is proving to be an excellent marketing partner for us. I am excited about opportunities that are just around the corner.
