Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co (HPE.N) can boost manufacturing at its facility in Wisconsin if trade tensions with China escalate, Chief Executive Antonio Neri said on Monday. Speaking at a Reuters Newsmaker event in San Francisco, Neri said HPE, whose products are not directly affected by tariffs that took effect last week, could modify production plans if additional tariffs affect its equipment made in China. NEW YORK/WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday took aim at Pfizer Inc (PFE.N) and other U.S. drugmakers after they raised prices on some of their medicines on July 1, saying his administration would act in response. “Pfizer & others should be ashamed that they have raised drug prices for no reason.” Trump wrote in a post on Twitter on Monday. The newspaper had said the social media company had suspended more than 70 million fake accounts in May and June, leading to a decline of monthly active users in the second quarter. “Most accounts we remove are not included in our reported metrics as they have not been active on the platform for 30 days or more, or we catch them at sign up and they are never counted,” CFO Ned Segal tweeted on Monday. …read more […]
