(Bloomberg) — Chevron Corp. may be based in California, but Chief Executive Officer Mike Wirth had little praise for the state as he lauded the Texas business environment during an event in Houston on Wednesday.The Chevron boss hailed Texas’s resource base, its skilled workforce and overall business environment while criticizing policies back in the Golden State in a wide-ranging fireside chat at a gathering organized by the Greater Houston Partnership.
