Malaysia's Khazanah sells stakes worth $1.4 billion, including in Alibaba

Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional Bhd has sold stakes worth 5.66 billion ringgit ($1.36 billion) in seven foreign firms including Alibaba Group Holding Ltd in the first 16 months of the current government, a minister said. Uber was stripped of its London operating licence on Monday for the second time in just over two years as the city’s regulator said the taxi app was not “fit and proper”, having put passenger safety at risk.
