Is the office canceled?
Sure, Steve Carell and Greg Daniels have moved on to Netflix’s Space Force.
But the future of the office is one a lot of CEOs are currently pondering.
Now, before you shake your fist at the sky or lament this possibility, understand that this is an opportunity that should make investors cheer.
If there are any bright spots to be found in the pandemic, one could be that companies finally have an excuse to deleverage themselves from one of the biggest areas of corporate waste: real estate.

There’s no stopping the Apple (AAPL) juggernaut. The stock recently surged past the $2 trillion market cap – the first company to ever do so – and started the week trading at another all time-high.However, with the economy in tatters, and Wall Street at what appears to be a major disconnect from Main Street, the recent tech driven market rally has raised concerns about the formation of a tech bubble, with Apple one of the potential victims, should it burst.Time will tell if the market has reached boiling point, but in the meantime such concerns are a non-issue for Tigress …read more […]

Back on May 20, I wrote a Trade of the Day, titled “You’ll Never Guess What’s Sold Out Across America Right Now!”
The article was on Poolcorp (Nasdaq: POOL).
At the time, Poolcorp was trading around $230 per share.
Expensive?
Perhaps. But I still said to buy it (or even sell puts against it).
Specifically, I wrote the following:
Poolcorp is an expensive stock, which means that the options carry a big premium. However, this might make for a nice stock play – or even a put sell.
How has this recommendation performed?
Handsomely, to say that least.
Today, Poolcorp trades for just under $340 per share.
It’s gained $100 …read more […]
Chief Income Strategist Marc Lichtenfeld talks about a popular topic among income investors: real estate investing. Here’s why Marc thinks real estate should have a place in your portfolio.
The other day, I was talking to my wife about one of our real estate investments. My teenage daughter overheard and started asking questions about our strategy.

The drop in Apple’s stock price resulting from its split will reduce its weight within the Dow, along with the overall weight of the technology sector in the Dow. …read more […]

One of the most common explanations for the frenzy of buying in Tesla Inc (NASDAQ: TSLA) in 2020 has been the stock’s eligibility for the S&P 500, which bulls say would force a tremendous amount of buying volume in the stock.DataTrek Research co-founder Nicholas Colas on Monday said the case to include Tesla in the S&P 500 is far from cut and dry, and the impact it could have on the stock market may not necessarily be positive.Questionable Profitability: Tesla met the qualifications for inclusion in the S&P 500 for the first time when the company reported a profitable second …read more […]
