The retail portion of Saudi Aramco’s initial public offering (IPO) has been fully covered, with orders reaching 32.57 billion Saudi riyals ($8.7 billion), lead manager Samba Capital said on Wednesday. The state-owned oil giant plans to sell 1.5% of the company, or about 3 billion shares, at an indicative price range of 30 riyals to 32 riyals, valuing the IPO at as much as 96 billion riyals ($25.6 billion) and giving the company a market value of between $1.6 trillion and $1.7 trillion. The fuselage of Boeing Co’s upcoming 777X aircraft was split by a high-pressure rupture just as it approached its target stress level during a test in early September, Boeing said on Wednesday. The world’s largest planemaker suspended load testing of the new widebody in September when media reports said a cargo door failed a ground stress test. Thanksgiving is tomorrow. And I want to wish all of you the happiest of Thanksgiving holidays. I’m spending mine with the whole family and then some. My daughter, Rachel, is flying in with her husband from Atlanta, and my son, Nick, along with his partner, is hosting the event in their new house.

For as long as I can remember, Black Friday has been the busiest shopping day of the year in the United States. I can recall waking up from my Thanksgiving food coma, only to see grown adults attacking one another for the latest and greatest holiday gifts. In fact, since 2006 there have been 12 reported deaths and 117 injuries throughout the United States.
Things have calmed down in more recent years. The vast majority of all purchases are made online as retail brick and mortar stores continue to get crushed.
