Qatar Airways may convert its 10 orders for the Boeing Co ultra-long-range 777-8 widebody jet to the larger 777-9, depending on the performance of the 777-9, the Qatari airline’s chief executive said on Thursday. “If the 9 is performing very close to the parameters that the 8 will operate, yes we may convert the 8 to 9,” Qatar Airways CEO Akbar al-Baker told Reuters on the sidelines of an event to launch a new route from Doha to Langkawi. (Bloomberg) — Apple Inc. on Wednesday said that 55% of iPhones introduced in the past four years are running iOS 13, the latest version of the company’s mobile operating system.The company shared the data on its website for third-party developers. It also reported that that 50% of all iPhones are on iOS 13, while 33% of iPads are on iOS 13. Kinder Morgan Inc expects to bring the remaining nine units of its liquefied natural gas (LNG) export facility at Elba Island into service by the first half of next year, Chief Executive Officer Steven Kean said on Wednesday. The first unit of Kinder Morgan’s Elba Island facility began producing LNG natural gas for export last month, and is one of several new U.S. projects adding to global supplies.
