U.S. Silver Corporation is principally engaged in the exploration, development and operation of silver mining properties in northern Idaho, United States. The Company undertakes its business through two wholly owned subsidiaries, United States Silver, Inc. and U.S. Silver-Idaho, Inc. (USI). The primary assets of USI are the operating Galena Mine and the adjoining, Coeur Mine and Caladay Project in the Coeur d’Alene Mining District in northern Idaho. The Company commenced production of silver-lead ore, during the year ended December 31, 2008, after restarting the Coeur mill to process the silver-lead ores.
