CBS CEO Moonves survives board meeting amid misconduct probe

It was not immediately clear if Moonves would stay on for the duration of the investigation. Moonves, 68, is one of the global media industry’s highest-paid executives and could receive a severance package of more than $180 million (137.01 million pounds)based on his contract and the terms of his departure, according to CBS filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. GE hires bankers to mull sale of digital assets: WSJ

GE’s multibillion-dollar digital business, which includes its Predix software system and applications, has been struggling with technical issues and weakening sales. GE has been seeking partners to invest in GE Digital as it narrowed the target markets for the division and abandoned plans to build a cloud platform, instead partnering with Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) and Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) clouds.
